WNCPA Member Toni Richardi, PsyD, MSCP will be providing a free APA-sponsored CE event for all WNCPA members that will explore the functional application of some of the most commonly prescribed psychotropic medications Psychologists see in their practice (e.g., SSRIs, SNRIs, mood stabilizers, sedating antidepressants). Dr. Richardi will provide a more in-depth understanding regarding the mechanisms of action behind antidepressants, as the common "chemical imbalance" explanation is more myth than truth.
