You may already be aware, but our mothership, the North Carolina Psychological Association (NCPA), has a series of workshops going on throughout the state in the upcoming months. Of particular interest to WNC is a workshop coming up titled, "Practice check up: Legal and ethical issues crucial for psychologists in clinical practice." This workshop will be on August 4th at UNCA from 9:30-12:45pm. As you know, it's a renewal year, so if you haven't gotten your ethics CEs yet this is a great opportunity! Please see the attached flyer for more details about this workshop and others in the upcoming future. Susan Hurt, J.D., Ph.D., and Sally Cameron (our current but soon retiring NCPA Executive Director) will be the presenters! Should be a stellar workshop.
